Students interested in emergency medicine research will have an opportunity to participate in the ongoing research of the department. These areas include, but are not limited to cardiac arrest, stroke care, trauma resuscitation, emergency medical services (EMS), ultrasound, and acute clinical care. Students are typically paired with a single faculty mentor for the duration of the module.
Topics and availability of the course depend on the current research needs of the department. The goal of the course is to teach the student how to approach a research topic, how to conduct that research, and how to prepare information gained for publication.
